    When you stop to consider the effect of smoking on your health, donít forget to look at the vision problems that can develop.

    Nicotine may cause blood vessels in the eyes to become smaller and reduce oxygen supply. Carbon monoxide reduces the bloodís ability to combine with and carry needed oxygen, affecting the ability of the eyes to adapt to changes in lighting.
